I was there, were you?
The biggest attraction was Bob Dylan but here is the complete line-up:-
The Band
Blodwyn Pig
Blonde on Blonde
Bonzo Dog Doodah Band
Edgar Broughton Band
Joe Cocker
Aynsley Dunbar
Bob Dylan
Eclection
Family
Gary Farr
Fat Mattress
Julie Felix
Free
Gypsy
Richie Havens
Marsha Hunt and White Trash (yes, she was topless!)
Indo Jazz Fusions
Liverpool Scene
Mightybaby
The Moody Blues
The Nice
Tom Paxton
Pentangle
The Pretty Things
Third Ear Band
The Who
High spot for me (apart from Dylan, of course)was Tom Paxton who I hadn't heard before.
Motif of the whole event was a mighty inflatable gorilla with fairy wings.
Anyone else get to go?

Sorry, but the only 2 performers I know are Bob Dylan and The Who. I wasn't born in 1969 and I think my mum was only a wee thing at the time. lol.
Only reason I know of Bob Dylan is because my adoptive mum was really into him. The Who, well, I watch CSI who uses one of their songs as the theme song.

I was too young to go but I do remember most of those bands and performers. I lived in the north of England back then but now I am on the south coast and I can see the Isle of Wight from where I live.
During last year's festival, when the Rolling Stones were appearing there, I was watching a Stones tribute band performing at a free open air event in Southsea!
