How much do you rely on the Internet and/or TV?!

Getting ready for work today,I thought I'd check to see how my Mylot account was doing, and did I have any response notifications in my inbox-turns out my ISP was acting up,and I couldn't connect! How frustrated would you get by that happening? that wasn't the only thing-I like to record my favourite TV shows while I'm out at work,so I can watch them when I get back-setting up the video recorder first,I changed channel to check my Satellite TV listings guide-to find myself looking at a "No Signal" Error message-I was going into entertainment withdrawal before leaving the house for work..has this happened to you? were you at home to get it checked out,or were you going out and had to leave it til later?

i basically never watch TV but tend to rely on the internet quite a lot to communicate with friends, find information on subjects and gain a bit of pocket money. This is quite a lot when I come to think of it, and it is funny how much less appealing a computer is if it does not have internet.

Very true..an unconnected computer is an unfulfilled computer!

I know that I myself depend on the internet for everything I do nowadays, so I know that when I have trouble with it , it is frustrating!
But, if I lost it all, I would just have to revert back to the original manual way of doing everything, if I had to! It just makes it easier with the internet, that's all!

We rely on both TV and internet to much. The internet as a way to find out new things and hopefully make some money though we have not had much luck finding ways of making money online so far. As for the TV the kids love watching shows like Mickey mouse club house and handy manny

I rely on the internet a great deal, and as time passes I tend to become more reliant on it due to becoming more accustomed to the convenience of it.
As for the television, I would not miss it in the slightest and only watch a few programs per week.

I rely on the internet for a massive amount of things. I get my news from there, I use e-mail alot, I use it for research papers in college, I use it to view my grades, and I use it for entertainment. These are just the things I can think of, I am sure there are many other things I do on the internet. I spend a large portion of my day just simply surfing the internet and using for information. I use the TV primarily for entertainment. Since I can get any news I want at the touch of a button online, there is no point in trying to watch it on TV.

i rely on the internet a lot. in fact, too much that is. LOL
i'm always on the internet, and i don't get off the internet until i go to bed about 4PM. as for the tv, i hardly watch it. but if i do, it is to watch my favorite classic sitcom shows that are on TV Land.

i love, love, love my computer and the internet. i could live without my tv easily if it came to that but i rely on my computer for so many things. it makes my life so much easier. i had a problem with it last week and i was beside myself until i got it fixed and was back up and running again. i cannot afford to buy a new one so i was thrilled when i found out i could get this taken care of under my warranty.
