When Obama refuses to debate thats political suicide. There has never been a candidate that has refused to debate and
become President.Obama has done lousy in a lot of his debates with Hillary because the questions from the moderators are too tough he complains.Hillary says those questions are not tough compared to the questions a President gets asked in the White House.Hillary has offered to have a debate without moderators, one on one,he refused. So as it stands a debate without moderators and without those tough moderator questions Obama has refused.Obama needs to do these debates. If
Obama wants to win,he has to show people that he is not an empty suit and that he has some substance and that he is not juat all rhetoric, empty words. Some people want to see if they can hear anything when he talks. As for me I haven't
heard anything when he talks. Why are his words all rhetoric some people might wonder.People are still waiting to hear if he has something to say.

I think Obama is afraid that he will be again drilled on his association with some very unsavory people. Wright a racist, Ayers a weathermen terrorist and let's not forget Sara and Sohaib Abbasi Obama's Islamic fundraiser friends. (Since the September 11 attacks, an Islamic studies program a professorship have been initiated at the prestigious Stanford University, California, with an endowment of US $9 million. A significant aspect of the program is the generous donation of 2.5 million dollars by a Pakistani couple, Sara and Sohaib Abbasi)
When will Americans waken up to the fact that one is judged by one's friends and Obama's friends do not seem to be friends of America.

Oh my ! We don't know who these people are,his Islamic fundraiser friends.2.5 million by this one couple is quite a lot.
Never heard of this Islamic studies program that has endowed 9 million all together. Thanks for your paying attention.
I wonder why this hasn't come fully into the open to find out more about this fund raising program and this very rich couple.

I agree that to turn down a debate could mean political trouble for Obama, but it may be a smart thing to do. Hillary would make mincemeat out of him, and I don't mean that in a nice way. Obama shouldn't have to stoop to her level. She's pulling out all stops because Obama's popularity scares her.

Fox news has offered to Moderate a debate between them but they both refuse to appear on Fox News. When the Republicans faced the MSNBC and other liberal media moderators they still had the debate. It was OK to question Governor Rommney about his Church and the doctrine changes he supported, but no we can't ask Senator Obama about his church and the things being preached there. It is OK to question Senator McCain about a lobbiest he worked with several years ago and nothing improper was every proven but we can't ask Senator Obama about his relationship with a Hate speaking preacher or a terriorest who which he could do more. Lets get a real debate and ask the tough questions. I would suggest that each party get to select a moderiator and then lets have the debate no h0lds barred with the candidates having to answer all the questions.

He's not debating for one simple reason, it can't help him. He's already ahead in the polls so if he loses the debate, that will hurt him. If he wins the debate, which is not too likely, it still won't have a significant impact since he already has the lead in the polls. He's a coward who is afraid of what will come out if he is put under more scrutiny. There have been candidates who fought to get into debates and were refused, now we have a guy invited to a debate and he doesn't even have the guts to show up. I'm really not surprised by his move at all.

Yeah, but Obama still has a huge chance. Hillary fights too dirty. I don't know ANYONE personally that's going to vote for her.

Obama has a huge chance from people that just like the way he talks but they are not listening. If they were really listening they would hear that he doesn't really say anything except mainly the word change over and over.He doesn't say directly what this change is or how exactly he will make this change.
