Impulse Shopping... / myLot

I usually make a list of the things I will be buying in order to take control of my expenses. everything's expensive these days and its important to be very disciplined when it comes to spending so I try very hard to stick with the list. otherwise, it's useless.:)

I also try to be as "disciplined" with my money as I possibly can,but I'm not always that good at it. Theres almost always something that I want and just "have" to have.

I always take a list with me to the grocery or I will end up with everything but the item I needed. Elsewhere I usualy have soemthing in mind of what I am looking for so I don't spend hours in the same store.

hi sharon, yeah, i try to stick to my list, but if i ever get carried away i end up spending double. last week i stuck to my list at the grocery store and it only cost 65 dollars, when i dont its more like 120 dollars. stick to the list i reckon :-) if we can help it hehe

Sticking to a list can be awfully hard to do sometimes,especially for us gals! Thanks for responding.

Yes and no. I usually just go and buy what I remember. My husband may need a list though. I usually remember what to get when I am out. Now, if I have a lot to get, like things for my house, I will most likely bring a list with me to the store.
