I started ordering the Third Watch discs on my Netflix, and I'm curious about a couple of things! First of all, is Third Watch a new show? Or is it older? And is there only ONE season of it? Are they still making it?

It is an older show. I used to watch it every week. I really liked it. I think there was 2 seasons but I am not sure. I do know it was on during 9/11. They did a tribute to it.

oh wow! i bet that was a great episode! I'm glad there was more than one season, but I wonder why I can't find any but the first one on dvd! x.x it sucks! I want them all! lol.

There were 6 seasons, I just searched it. You can find it here http://www.tvdvdworld.tv/movie/drama/Third_Watch.html, although it is kind of pricey. I would like to get BJ and the Bear, but I wasn't willing to give what they wanted for it. Do you remember that show?

wow!!! 6 seasons! that's great! Does it stay great through all of them!? Actually, for me 88 dollars is not bad at all for 6 seasons! BestBuy and FrysElectronics both charge a little over 40 for only the first season! I wish I didn't already buy the first season somewhere else! x.x
I don't remember a show called BJ and the bear o.o what's it about?

I love that show too! I know it's old because it was probably 5 years ago when I first started watching
I don't know how many episodes or seasons, though. I figured it wasn't that many otherwise, I would have continued watching it.

Yeah I thought it was a few years older, but the reason I had to ask was because I can't find anywhere to buy any other seasons but the first. Any ideas to help me with that?

I'm happy that there are a lot more than 1 season! lol. Thanks for the link! =P I defeniatly wish I didn't just buy the first season yesterday! 88 for all 6 seasons is defeniatly a great deal!!! If I talk myself into it enough than I will probably buy all 6 again anways, at that price! lol.

I absolutely loved that show! It wasn't all a bed of roses. They tackle some very BIG issues in a sensitive yet realistic way. Other things they just clobber you over the head with. Does require viewer discretion at times. Not for children. Definitely one of the best shows of that type on TV. Enjoy!

oh it is a great show! I've only seen a little over half of the first season, and I am more than willing to buy the entire series before even seeing it! lol. They defeniatly do get sensitive at times! One of the episodes I watched had be bawling like a baby! Omg! My eyes were very teary and I woke my dogs up (they were sleeping next to me on the couch lol). =P It was the episode where the building the workers are in is falling apart, and those two guys (the husband and the brother of a lady) and they have to choose to only save one of them. You know which one I'm talking about?

I didn't think there could only be one season, it's such a great show! But on netflix, and in stores, I can't find any other seaons but the first to get! X.X And I would really love to see all the episodes!

Third Watch is an old show. i watched most of them in rerun on TNT...and that was a couple of years ago. it's at least a couple of seasons cuz they go through a few character changes. it's a very good show, i hope you enjoy it as much as i did.

After the first disc I was hooked! I loved it! I love all the characters for their own reasons-even "the jerk cop" and the "grumpy old cop." lol. You have to love them all!
