how to be a good mother?

Of course there is no rules and regulations on how to be a good mother to your child.. Loving them is always enough to raise them very well.... Good Luck and God bless!

I Think it starts with knowing that you would kill for your child. you do everything based on his well-being. You have a minimum of 18 years that this child IS your life.

first rule, second rule, third, and so on... patience, patience, PATIENCE! dont sweat the little stuff.. it really doesnt matter if they spill their milk or toss their books all over the floor, or play in cardboard boxes. color on the walls, wanna wear mismatched socks (or none at all). enjoy the time.. sleepless nights dont last forever.. teething doesnt last forever.. in a blink its all over, and if you rush through it.. youll miss alot youll wish you hadnt when theyre all grown. grats on the new baby, have fun with him

There's definately NO handbook in the world that can prepare you to be a good mother....Just do the best you can everyday to love your child and put them first in your life....children will love you unconditionally... Just be there for them no matter what.. There will be good times as well as bad, but as long as they know that you are there to love them no matter what, you will be a good mother....treasure your children always. You will make mistakes, but you will also grow and learn from them everyday....that's what it takes to make a good mother....

Wow.. you received a lot of great compliments especially the lady who wrote the long narrative.. as a mom of a great son and beautiful little girl. I know how daunting it is. My advice to you is be loving, be gentle, be kind, be assertive and don't forget to be firm. Believe in your child and his dreams. If he loves dinosaurs, teach him everything about dinosaurs. Until he turns to you in that little big boy voice and says mommy I like hot wheels now. Your child will show you how to raise him. Some boys are overly rambunctious and some are sweet and sensitive. Just love him, you can scold but not belittle him. Once you figure that part out its easy to raise the little guy.

Just love your offspring and let that love last for ever, that is the hallmark of a good mother
