Has anyone heard about the shot to quit smoking??

My husband told me he works with a guy that got a shot to help him quit smoking ... said it cost $400... has anyone heard about this.and if so have you heard whether it works or not

As you know smoking gives nicotene to the blood.the treatments are such as patches,tatoos etc the doctors apply to your body,means patch applies say 5 times of that of regular usuage as a result ,if any one tries to smoke ,he will will be in serious trouble.So that the habit of contact of a cigrate with your lip goes out.Then gradually the dosage level will bring down ,in future he will not smoke again unless and until he decide to smoke.No temptations to smoke after the treatment.
