Protect your PC from virus.

I am a doctor of computer. I have held with so much virus. I can tell the solution for your computer problem.
To be protected.
You need a firewall. Download Windows Defender works prefect. Then an antivirus software i suggest Mcafee. And an antispyware this is spybot search and destroy(free).
Update these software a week. And Scan for virus once in a month be protected. If you are feeling some problems with your computer please PM. Don't forget to add about your hardware information like ram memory etc..,

If yours is genuine windows xp and if it is updated regularly no softwares is needed. But if it's not then you have to pay more bucks. I suggest you to subscribe for digit magazine. Which gives a lot of softwares.

thanks for being ready to help all of us. but i dont think mcafee is a very good antivirus. i used mcafee till some one week ago. and i was experiencing a lot of issues. then i made a discussion and one of my mylot friends only advised me to install zone alarm antivirus. now i am using this one. i think it is much better than mcafee.
and i have a doubt. what is your opinion about combofix?

Every antivirus softwares are nice till you update them If you use mcafee or combofix everything is the same. Only thing is some irritate you.

Symantec is a software used rarely and this makes your pc slow. But it gives a better protection It's better you have a pc with nice memory if you use this software.
