You can tell how fresh a loaf of bread is by the color of the bread tie?? Its true!
If baked on:
Monday - Blue
Tuesday - Green
Wednesday - no baking I guess:)
Thursday - Red
Friday - White
Saturday - Yellow
And it is actually easy to remember cuz they go in ABC order! I just thought is was a fun fact:)

Yeah, I actually knew that I could look at the tags to tell how fresh they were, but I thought the color depended on what stores you bought them in. I didn't know they were universal to all breads in the United States. Now, I won't have to look closer at the tag to know if one is fresher than the other.

That is a nice little fact to know! My aunt has to eat bread that is really fresh otherwise she has some kind of reaction to the old yeast in the bread I will have to give her this tip! Thanks.

which country is this in though? Because will the colours be the same for each country? Or region even? I don't remember seeing any coloured bread ties from our bakeries... They're usually just plain white. It is a fun fact though I agree!
