I just watched CLoverfield on DVD this weekend. I just didn't find it very interesting. I fell asleep the first time and then tried to watch it a second time and ended up walking away from the TV and cleaning. I had heard rave reviews about it, my husband liked it..did I miss something? What did you like about the movie? Should it have been watched in a movie theatre for better effects?

I think indeed it was a tailor made for the theater experience; on the big screen it would have felt more like a Universal Stuidos ride attraction I bet. However, on the small screen it is still fairly compelling and a good watch. My full review can be found here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/729927/movie_review_cloverfield.html

Well, I guess I can't really say I watched it, because I came back to my computer after a few minutes of the movie, and when I went back out, my husband was asleep! So he started it again after I went to bed, and said it was one of the stupidest movies he had ever seen!! He said it wasn't worth me staying up for anyway! #:)

I have not seen it yet but I have read many many bad reviews on mylot about it. It seems no one really liked the show. I will still rent it sometime though as everyone likes differenent things but I really don't think I am going to like it from what I have read.

i watched part of the movie and honestly i couldn't really get into it because to me it wasn't that "real' i guess you would call it...but i mean it was alright to be honest with you though i am like you i kind of fell asleep during it and just got up out of the movie theater and just left because it couldn't hold my attention for very long...so you aren't alone!
