I work at a post office as a mail carrier.
In the evening I run 2 business's as a network marketer and a psychic consultant/advisor.
How many here work a typical 9-5 job and/or own their own business.
Also, I'd love to hear about your work (home or out of home)

I'm a homemaker. I'd love to be a psychic consultant, I read not only tarot cards but also a regular playing deck of cards. I've wanted to start a business online, but right now money is a little tight. Perhaps in the future if all is bright. I wish I had stories to tell you but I don't.

I work out of home. I write for a few online news portals and print magazines, and I am also a qualified financial advisor, I manage financial portfolios for some of my clients and friends.
These are activities that I took up post retirement - I retired at age forty. Before that I managed a manufacturing company-engineering, and my pet chores there were design of machinery and managing the accounts, I just love maths and physics/engineering. I used to 16-18 hours a day and did enjoy most of the work.
I gave it all up because of certain problems on the labour front that refused to get resolved and also I felt that maybe my life needed to head in a different direction. After 2 years of doing nothing except falling sick, and becoming bored of inactivity, I studied and topped various exams and started my out of home financial portfolio management work.
I am making more money now working part of the time -maybe 4-8 hours a day than I did working 16-18 hours at my engineering earlier.

I am a stay at home mom. Paying daycare for two children just would not make me enough money to work and my husband works about 13 hour days so he would be to tired to watch the children in the evening if I got a part time job at night he would fall asleep while watching them.

Hi,
I work with IBM as an Availability Manager. Well, it's a regular 9-5 job but i like what i do as it involves quite a lot of challenges. It's been good so far and looking forward to do great things ahead. When i get free time, am at Mylot responding to discussions.
