Calling all Avon Representives, Past, Present and Future

I am serious considering selling Avon. I was talking to an avon representive at bingo the other night about it. I was wondering if anyone on the site sells Avon or did in the past. What kinds of things did you do to make your business sucessful? I thought it would be good to get me out of the house and meet some people.

i sell avon and the business is going pretty well. in fact i gained 4 new customers this campaign. i make sure my family and friends know i sell avon. sometimes i give them discounts and they have a nice size order. also from time to time i have avon parties, and give them samples and many people order. i'm a beauty consultant now through avon and from taking that course i learned about a lot of the products i can suggest to my customers. it is a real nice opportunity and if you have more question feel free to contact me.

So far I have had only one person take my book but my district manager is coming door knocking with me next week and I am going to some training. MY family lives 3000 miles away unfortuently. I am going to have a draw from anyone who places an order with my first camplaign. Hopefully that will drum up some new customers.

It will do you really good if you go out of the house and meet new people. I had joined Avon a long time ago but I was too busy then and I really have no spare time to tend to it. So, it really didn't succeed. However, one of my aunts is still with Avon and she is dong quite good. At first, she goes to people she knew and she sells them the products and she ask for referrals. Then she calls on the referrals to ask for an appointment and see if they are interested. From there, her network grew and she has regular clients who calls on her everytime they want to buy Avon or she calls on them to update them of new products and if there are promos. I really wish you luck and I hope and pray you will really do better on this new endeavor of yours. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!
