hello all, I am starting to eat all natural foods and leaving the processed food behind. I have a couple of recipes already like a great turkey chili. It taste so good and fresh with all the fresh veggies. Ă…nyway, Does anyone have any suggestions or good recipes they can give to me. I love the way eating natural makes me feel. I feel so clean (as odd as that might sound) and have so much more energy. It is great and a great feeling. Also if anyone needs any tips on the natural lifestyle let me know, I know a few things about the subject.

I have been striving to do the same thing. I have taken my family (at least the minors) off of fast food all together. We no longer eat red meat (since March of 2005). My 20 year old daughter took it even farther than that. She is now a vegetarian since October 2007. I don't have any particular recipes. I just substitute ground turkey where ever a dish called for ground beef. and I alter other favorite meals with organic and/or healthier ingredients like wheat pasta, etc. Good luck.

I have tried the wheat pasta but some of it, the texture is a little off for me but there are some good ones out there. You should try some of the veggie pasta that is made from veggies. I have and they are tasty and without that weird texture you might find in wheat pasta. Some of my favorite are spinach and artichoke. It is really good. I also use ground turkey and stay away from red meat.

WOW!!! Eating all natural.......it sounds wonderful. I cant help but ask everything that you do, to accomplish this. I am a veggie type person. I can eat it all day everyday. But all Natural i have never heard of before. Is that the same as eating Organic? I can just imagine how your body feels. WOW, You really have me wanting to look into this for myself. I believe strongly about taking care of the body. My goodness we are only blessed with one. But this so so good. I cant wait to try it.

It is kind of like eating all organic but you still have to read the labels of what you buy. For instance, a can of organic tomato sauce I looked at still had salt which I can not have but I can have sea salt (which is great and only a few cents more) so finally I found a can of tomato paste that used sea salt instead. Make sure you always read the labels. veggies are great and can be cooked in so many ways. I wish I knew if I could post my web-site on here so you can look up some of the natural recipes I have already come up with. If you want to start, start by taking red meat out of your diet and be more aware of what you are buying and what you are putting in your body.. Read the labels always, my husband gets a little frustrated with me when we go shopping together because it takes me a little longer because I read everything but after your first few times at the grocery you pretty much know what you are going to get since you have already read the labels and done your research.. Good luck!!! it is a great thing.

Sorry I don't have any good suggestions or good recipes for you. But I am really interested in eating all natural. What interested me most is the energy part! I have no energy unless I take supplements (which I hate to do). Reading your post made me realize that I eat a lot of processed foods. I realize everything I eat comes in a box or a can. I would love more energy so maybe I will have to try eating all natural. I will have to do it gradually but I think I would definitely enjoy more energy. Thank you for the wonderful idea. Thumbs up for your post!

oh yes, I have three kids and the energy part is so great for me. It is really not good to eat all that processed food because there are so many toxins that you take into your body when you do, not to mention when you cook with natural ingredients the food taste so fresh and full of flavor. It really makes you feel good about yourself when you start to feel better, it is a great feeling. The best thing to do is do it gradually or else you might not succeed. Little changes at a time will help. Things are a little more expensive but you save money in the long run because you are not buying all the snacks and things like that. Also you save money on health care because you are healthier. I try and go shopping once a week because so much of what I buy is fresh and I don't want it to go bad. Also, frozen veggies are almost as good and I use them a lot too.

Well I have a website that I am building right now that has some recipes but it is still in the works. I don't have many on there yet but when I have time I will add more things. My website doesn't just have natural foods it also has that good ole "bad" southern food.. .I am trying to come up with natural ways of cooking my southern favorites at the moment and will add them when I get the recipe right. I am not sure if I can post my web-site here so I will find out and give it to you.
