Have you ever considered being a surrogate parent?

I was going to be a surrogate mother for my best friend but just recently she was killed. Now, I have started considering being a surrogate for someone else. Not sure yet but someone that would like to have a baby but can't. God has blessed me with an abundance of fertility and I can't imagine my life without kids. I would love to help someone else have kids. I really haven't thought about donating my eggs. I guess that could be an option. From my understanding most surrogacies are with someone else's eggs and then they are fertilized and then implanted into the surrogate mother. Have you considered being a surrogate parent? Tell me the reasons you are for surrogacy or against yet.
