How To Quit Smoking?Any Ideas Or Suggestions?

Hello friends.I have this bad habit since I was about 13.I want to quit by my will power is not that strong to give up on it.Is there any way or method to quit smoking?Do you have any suggestions?If you have quit smoking,can you please let me know how in the world did you do it?

I also have been a smoker since the age of 13.
I have tried many methods...cold turkey, chantix, patches, gums, etc.
Nothing works. I guess because I don't really want to quit?
I know that I need to quit...it's appalling...it makes you smell bad, its bad for your health and the health of those around you.
If you get any good suggestions be sure to send them my way too.

my husband just quit smoking. he just slowly worked himself off of them. he would start having less a day till finally he didn't really need one. My dad is trying to quit now too. he went to his doctor and got a prescription for a pill. i can't remember what it is called but it seems to be working for him. If you have insurance I would go to your doctor and have him prescribe something for you to try.

I quit six years ago by slowly cutting back. I was at two packs, then I went to one. After that I limited it to half a pack. Then I cut that to 5 smokes a day. Finally I just set a pack on my dresser and left it, for just in case, but I never even opened it and after a year I through them away.

There are many rehabilition center for helping to get rid of these habits. Try them and make a great change in your life.
