Please remember "to get something, you need to give up something". Nothing comes without pain, "no pain, no gain". It is also said - 'Everything comes at a price.' So if you wish to develop an everlasting relationship with anyone, you will have to follow the above principles. You need to sacrifice yourself to win somebody's heart. Wow that's a tall order. I don't think any of us know how to do that because if we did there'd be more happy people out there. Also though, even if we were to know the answer it would probably be fairly impossible to follow. It would have to include things like always resecting the other's opinion, compromising on EVERYTHING, sharing everything (material and otherwise), and perhaps something as daft as being forever in a sociable friendly mood - meaning I'd have to go in hiding for a whilst every month. Lol. Anyway this would probably make life boring too - perhaps happy and boring. Who knows.

To make a relationship last forever, you have to work at it. There are going to be times when you will have to give a little or do things that you have no interest in, as long as it is legal, of course. You have to make compromises and talk things over. You have to pick and choose battles, in other words, don't argue over things that really aren't that important. Relationships are a lot of hard work, but well worth it in the end.

You must know that relationship requires - give and take policy. The more you give, more are the chances that you are going to succeed. Also do not expect that the same quantum of favour would be returned by the other fellow, as you did with him/her.

for me, its really tough having a relationship will last forever..i think it depends from the both of you if you really want your relationship will work..there are lots of problems when you're inside the relationship and if your are not working for it to make it good, it will really break the bond, but if the both of you have the eagerness to fight each other, having the attitude of being humble, lots of patience, respect, love and trust to each other, i dont think relationship will not work..it really depends..

It is very easy...All you need is trust, truth and sincerity. I think these are the frameworks of a good relationships both for friendships and love.

Making a relationship last forever takes time and work. It isn't an easy thing to do. You need constant communication, honesty, and trust.

The main thing in a relation is understanding each other. If your feelings and interest and ideas match each other then the relationship will last forever. Even if your ideas or any of the above does not match then you could try to make the other feel that you really care for him/her. This is the golden rule for lasting relationship.

In my opinion, if you want keep a relationship between you and your friends froever, you must be true friends, you had better have more same interets, goal and ideal, then you have more topics to share and can grow together.
