DWTS: Injuries on live tv

Okay so again this year we have had a star get injured on live tv. This time it was Cristian! The only thing is I missed his performance where he got injured. I was flipping back a forth between this show and One Tree Hill. I came back just as they were coming back from a commerical and I saw his elbow wrapped up. So could someone tell me what exactly happened? I have yet to go check abc.com's website to see if the dances have been put on there yet. I heard that even though he was injured he continued with the dance for the sake of his partner Cheryl. I give him high praise for that, but it looks like his injury has hurt his score as he had the lowest combined score by the end of the night. Do you think this is going to affect him staying on the show? Do you think he might be the one to go home tonight?
What are your thoughts regarding his injury? and about the whole show last night?

Amazing how they always just HAPPEN to have one injury EVERY single season. Can you say "ratings stunt?" I thought you could.
He'll be fine. They always are. They always go bravely on despite the injury. Which is not really hard considering it is not nearly as serious as they make it out to be to gin up conversation about the show.

Actually they have not had an injury on every single season. I have watched every season from day one. Last season and this season have been the only seasons that they have had any injuries happen on live tv. So no I can't not say that it is a ratings stunt!

Don't forget Heather Mills "fall" during her season. Considering reputable dance shows never have ANY injuries, the consistency of the injuries on this show -- and it is the consensus of the tv critics -- it is a ratings stunt.

I am talking about major injuries that they have had to cut to commercials to bring in EMT's! That has only happened twice. Last season with Marie fainting and just last night with Cristian hurting his arm. They never brought in EMT's for Heather mills and if you want to count her's as an major injury also. Well that still only makes 3 out of 6 seasons that have had an injury, so that in no way indicates that there has been an injury "EVERY SINGLE SEASON"! You can't expect to never have injuries on live tv with a show like this, so I don't see how anyone could say it is a "Rating's stunt."

Well I did not see the injury as I was in and out of the romm during the show. I think he is not one of the best and would have had a chance of going home with or without the injury this week. I think the injury may actually boost his votes and help him this week.
