a month ago i was eager to start a diet...that was around last week of march 2008...i begin dieting by limiting my rice consumption to just at least 1 cup or less...but i force my self to consume lesser than 1 cup...i lose some pounds...but after graduation...since there were celebration from left to right which is mainly associated with non-stop eating...so my diet went to vacation...now im having a hard time of going back to that diet again...how about you guys?have ever experience this kind of situation?

What you have described is very familiar to me as I have experienced before. My weight was 92 kg and went on a dieting program. I lost 6 kg in 2 months and I was very excited. Due to all kind of celebrations in my community
I abandoned my dieting program and my weight came back and I am now 92 kg. I believe that you have to have a follow through in what you set to do. Forget about all the celebrations and stick to your dieting programs. I am yet to start a new one.

oh yes!i have been trying to go on a diet since last one and a half year and i am reminded of this act each time i buy something new to wear.i started dieting too by keeping a check on what i eat and started avoiding fruit juices, rice and butter.i started eating home made food and would eat before going out but soon that gave way to fast food and juices since i cant keep off them for long.so now i am still contemplating to get back on it with full vigour but unable to do so!
