Yes, an international organization which is responsible for mass starvation -- which could soon reach an epic scale?
I'd say they should at the very least be held accountable. Put some pressure on them to back off when people are desperate, you know?
I don't think drilling for more oil would really help, that's a temporary solution to a problem which'll probably even be a reality for our children in the future. What we need is independance from these greedy buggers who don't see anything wrong with what they're doing.

I agree with you about drilling for oil. According to some sources it wouldn't be cost effective at all for the amount of time it would take to actually get any oil or the amount we'd actually get. Also, in my opinion drilling in the Gulf of Mexico shouldn't even be an option. Tourism is much to big a business in that region to take that kind of risk.

..that's true! If we destroy all the nature, there truly won't be anything left!

Exactly, a temporary solution which ain't even a good solution...not even for short term.
And many of the spots where we know oil's at are some of the last places for endangered species and where humans don't go much -- what're the odds that we'd find oil underneathe suburbia right?
Why destroy more resources for oil, which we need independence from...which is causing a international food crisis...
That doesn't make sense.
If things get really bad we'll be THANKFUL for whatever nature's left. If anything we may need to start chompin' on deer if that day comes.

you sure would think so.
I dont know about you but I think oil pices ought to drop drasticly so truckers can have the fuel they need to deliver the goods I cant see disel being so much higher than car gas and I dont see that car gas should really be this high they are going crazy with this.

I feel 100% that they should be held accountable somehow. There is no way that they can keep on upping the Cost of fuel on a daily basis to where it is making it impossible for people to survive. It will get to the point where people will have to choose from A tank of gas, or their prescription, or food. And that is a shame. It is time someone steps in a little and takes some responsibility for all of this before it is too late.

I know one thing, those high gas prices are not good at all (of course I think many people feel the same way). It is starting to hit home with the food going higher in price. Because of that, my household has to help support my grandparents because they cannot afford food and a lot of other stuff. That is bad for my household because we are living paycheck to paycheck as it is, and this is draining whatever little money we had left. Very disgusting.
