Do you find that Mylot has helped your quality of life at all? Have you really learned anything on here? I have found that I have become more understanding and patient with people thanks to Mylot. It has opened my eyes even more to different people around the world. Also, more than one person that I have referred has told me that they really enjoy Mylot more than they ever imagined and that it gives them a really good feeling to be a part of it. How has it affected you? Has it at all? Good, Bad, indifferent? Has it changed your life in any way?

To say that mylot has a therapeutic effect on me is an understatement. To me, its like a world all of itself. When I step into mylot world, my world vanishes, along with the days troubles, worries, and disappointments. Unfortunately time passes differently here, I came for a 30 minute visit a few days ago and before I knew it, it bacame a 3 hour tour.

The best quality of life I could ever ask for is to spend the rest of my life with you buldwgz! (oops, did I give it away?) Anyhew, yes, since I have started mylot, it has made me realize that I am not alone in this crazy, messed up world. There are people out there who really understand first hand, some of the same things I'm going through. Outside of work, my family and home, I'm pretty much a hermit. We, I mean My husband and I, love to spend time with each other in some way. I like to stay home. I've never been a "bar hopper" or party goer. However, I can and do have fun at parties, if my hubby is there too:)

hi buldwgz, i was just thinking about this before your post caught my eye. i am a stay at home mother and seldom get to talk about "my feelings" or thoughts that do not involve runny nose or glitter! posting and discussion has increased the quality of my day. i can be totally myself and pick what subjects i want to talk about. who knows tomorrow i might start a discussion on how to get gold glitter out of the carpet ...and the cat!

LOL, good luck with the cat. I hadn't even thought of the ability to communicate with other adults like that, see how this forum truly can bring quality. It is good that you can open up and be yourself. Sometimes, on my days off when my wife is at work, this is the only time I get to communicate with other adults. Thanks for the response, shannonjyl.

I love that I get to talk to people from all over the world on an equal basis - no distrust, no animosity, just commonality. I like to think that I'm calmer because of this - I can vent safely and voice my opinions and can take greater care with what I say. I hope in the long run that helps me in the face to face world.
That's a great question, though.
