It would depend on what you mean by spoiled.
There are many children who are "spoiled" but who are cared for and have enough balance that they have some kind of basis, in being understanding, thoughtful, kind, caring, compassionate, and then there are those who are spoiled rotten and are brats, who have no clue how to exist in the real world.
I have seen those who were spoiled, and I didn't want to be around them, they run wild, no consideration for others etc,
Yet I know of two girls who are well indulged, have or get most everything they want, yet they still were taught balance, they were taught the idea of working for what they wanted, and appreciating what they are given.
So while these two girls may get every new phone that comes out every year, have every gadget imaginable, WI, Playstation and all the latest gadgets etc,
They also are going to spend some time during this summer working with habitat for humanity.
So there is spoiled so that the child is given everything, and they are rotten selfish people who think the world owes them something, and then there is spoiled as in their parents have the funds to indulge them on many levels, but they still have a sense of balance in their lives.
