dog breeds

I believe it is how they are raised. A dog can be a good dog if that is how they are raised. If they are raised to hurt or bite people, that is how they would react to people.

I believe that certain breeds are more prone to violent behavior and things like tat, like how huskies are naturally resistant to training and are strong headed. However most well trained and loved dogs will never be "bad". Only in a few cases will a dog have instincts or mental issues so bad that they would turn on their owners or be "bad" regardless of training, socializing and care. Dan

I do know there are breeds that have more energy and tend to me more anxious and some more aggressive. It takes a RESPONSIBLE pet owner to own some of these higher end breeds. I personally love pitbulls and I am ever-conscious of their reputation. People own them more for 'status' or for 'other' reasons I would rather not think about. What people sometimes don't realize is when people have them for fighting, they also own little labs, beagles, terriers, or even mild or submissive pits, etc...for BAIT DOGS. Any dog will work, most of them FREE on Craigslist or walking homeless. These dogs suffer just as much as the pits. There are informative sites on what pitbulls are really capable of in GOOD hands....www.lawdogsusa.org being one. This lady is amazing. Yes, I believe it falls in the hands of the owner. Sure, you hear about attacks...but what led up to them? Does the owner tease the dog? Keep in chained? Even labs will snap or bite. People who don't 'love' dogs and keep them socialized in a good way shouldn't have one, in my opinion. Any dog can be mean or nice depending on its owners. I have seen all types of dogs that are so mean and also so many that are loving. People do it by training poor habits or just by not socializing thier pets with other people when they are young. I hate the bad rap dogs get due to bad owners and irresponsibility.

Dogs are the way people make them.if you raise them right you will have a good dog.I hate people that get a dog and never take care of it right or make them in to bad ones.I have a 5 month old yellow lab and she is so nice to all of of us and the kids love her.

I don't believe that a dog can be naturely bad. It is all in how they are raised and treated. If you treat a dog mean it will be mean. If you give a dog love and affection than it will be a good and loving dog. I don't believe that a dog is born that way.
