a noisy neighbour?
OK so our neighbours are ok most of the time until the football is on and then all hell lets loose.
My daughter went to bed at 7 since then him next door has kept her awake with yelling and screaming at the tv and of all things clapping and I mean its loud like he is in here with me so obviously she can hear it and the poor darling cant sleep.
I know being disturbed happens but its been going on over an hour now and quite frankly the little patience I have after a trying day with two kids is about used up now.
Im all alone tonight so cant even go round there and tell him to keep it down for 15 mins just to give her chance to relax and fall asleep as once she is asleep nothing wakes her.
I suppose theres nothing I can do but the rant sure felt good!

We have a young neighbour who also can be noisy, she has no partner and goes out with her friends, which of course is a good thing, but when she comes back early hours of the moring, she makes such a noise, she is shouting up the street to her friends. The whole street must be able to hear her,and I feel for the ones that have got kids asleep. Then she will bang the door of her house and it shakes ourr house because she bangs it so hard.Sometimes if the noise wakes us up it can be hard to get back to sleep again.

Yes some people just dont think do they, it doesnt bother me until it affects my children and then I get annoyed because they have done nothing wrong. I must admit we probably annoy them more than they do us lol as my kids are noisy and im always shouting up to them etc or shouting over the tv lol

You have changed your avatar!! Sorry I noticed your name and thought thats not the normal pic she has!! Its very nice, very cute!!
There is not much you can do really, unless you play a relaxing tape/CD in her room, that might help her fall asleep and drown out some of thenoise by your nisy football neighbour!
Next time you see him just mention that your daughter sleeps in the room next to his house and struggled to sleep the other night when he was watching football. She goes to bed around 7 so next time can he be abit quieter. just be polite to him, I know men get excited when their team score but people still need their sleep, kids and adults!!
Hope you manage to sort it out x
