You are only supposed to submit photos you took yourself or that you have the right to distribute. However, a lot of users don't follow these rules. They'll submit photos that they found online. This is considered art theft and is against MyLot's terms of service. Unfortunately, these users aren't always caught and they often get away with it.

yes that is exactly why i made this post because i ahve seen far too many pictures that i have come across online at one point or the other on the internet and it baffles me why they were still permitted to stay on the site.i love to submit my own pictures too but my digital camera has a fault and so i lost almost about 200 personally taken pictures.thanks for your response,you got the soul of this post.

yes,ozzeth,you get some extra cents for your original pictures which you upload here on mylot as long as it is relevant to your post,there is however the need to take care of copywrights,load a picture someday and see howit works am sure you will like it,it make syou happy to see your own personal work seen by millions all over the world ,

ok oi agree with you and i had actually thought that was the case,but i have seen some pictures submitted by members and they are actually a collection of what i had seen somewhere on the internet before,yet the pictures were accepted here,maybe i was wrong anyway.
