Fun Reuse of old Printers and Cartridges

Anyone have any ideas about what use I can put an old printer to. One of my friends uses their old Epson as a bread bin having taken all the insides out.
Is there anyone out there with similar ideas for what I can do with mine? other wise I will just send it for recycling
Also at the same time other than reusing or recycling what can be done with old ink cartridges?

I am really curious to know if you ever found a way to recycle that printer. I have never heard of anyone doing such a thing! I am very big on the concept "reuse recycle" and I've seen some very interesting things people have done to reuse items that would otherwise have ended up in a landfill.
