there used to be all kinds of website to go to to download music and burn it to a cd for free now all i can find are ones that you have to pay for are there any out there that are still free?

I download a song or two to h ear it. Then if i like it then I will go out and buy the cd. I don't download and then burn the cd.

try WWW.BLUBSTER.COM AND WWW.EMUSIC.COM. you dont have to pay for down loading music. with blubster you have to down load 2 to 3 songs at a time if not it will come out funny.
