Freeware is free ! I must have reviewed nearly 1500 (and still counting) freeware programs form three to five different web sites -maybe that's not a lot to some- for me that was a lot of time sitting at my computer installing and uninstalling. I have found some to be a nuisance and quite a few very educational to my learning computer hardware and software. Currently I use three freeware programs -everyday- RocketDock - www.PCWorld.com Paintdotnet - www.microsoft.com -you'll need netframework v.2.2 for this one- PortableAppsSuite for USB MemorySticks - www.PCWorld.com My favorite Freeware web site is www.BestFreewareDownload.com They have programs I needed and programs I thought I didn't know I needed. Freeware has been a neglected source of decent utilities for a long time now. Too many people seem to consider that freeware programs are too basic and always subordinate to commercial software, but there are several very useful freeware programs available that work extremely well.

Wow2, 1500 programs! you are one dedicated man. I do evaluate software's too but not that many. Maybe you could share some common apps to benefit a lot of myLotters here.
