in their own world

do you ever feel like people around you are in their own worlds? like if you ask them to do something and it's like you were talking to the wall? or if you say something to them and they don't respond, but then just start talking about something that has nothing at all to do with what you were just asking them about? i certainly hope i don't do things like that. i try not to because i know how much it annoys me...i don't know, maybe i am just grouchy and tired right now. anyway-your thoughts would be appreciated!

There are times when I think the people around me are in their own little worlds and sometimes don't pay much attention to what is going on in my life. I will say something to her about my life and then she will just start talking about her own life and how much she hates certain things without even listening to my problems. I try to help her, but there are times when I just had enough.

Yes I do, my hubby. He does this and it really really annoys the life out of me, he is such a pest at times.

When someone talks to me I listen..My husband always has his mind in other worlds just not mine...I talk and he just looks off in the clear blue yonder...He does this to me all the time and a few other people...I hate it because it makes you feel unimportant...
