finding referals

Ok so in my travels around mylot it seems that the best way to achieve my earnings goals is to get some active referals. I know some of you out there have already gotton some of these so I am asking all of your advice.
What did you do to get your referals? I'd love some ideas.
Also, what percentage do you make from your referals?

Well I only got the one my dad. I just tell my friends and family about it and hope. You get 25% for each referal.

I guess it is more important to focus on quality rather than quantity. By that, I mean that it is important that your referrals are active to help you earn more. I have a few referrals which are inactive and are not of much help. So, it is probably best to introduce the fun of mylot to your own personal friends as you probably share the same interests and will help you earn more when they are interested. :-)

I don't actively seek referrals for mylot, I mostly look for referrals for Treasure Trooper since it pays more. But I find that by blogging and being a part of the blogging community, that I get a lot of referrals. I suggest trying that out. I've gotten hundreds of referrals that way!
