battlestar galactica

why they kill BSG after season 4, this show has been great for the past 3 seasons. And i personally think it is the best Sic-Fi show ever. It just does not make any sense, a popular TV show like battlestar could make a lot of money for whoever creat this story, and he/she should let this show keep going for a few more years. Just like the "friends", they made it 10 seasons. what can we do about it?
