it always feels like the radio DJs seem to know and keep playing all the songs pertaining to your pain?when i got cheated on by my then girlfriend of 5 yrs, every song i heard were songs like "tell me how am i suppose to live without you" and i am answering the radio too huh!" yes micheal bolton yes! how? how??"then as i turn to the next station, they were playing "love hurts ,love hurts wooo wooo love hurts"i am thinking next station "who's gonns drive you home tonight?"and that was exactly what i was thinkin at the time" yes cars who is gonna drive her home tonight?"next"i could hardly believe it when i heard the news today" micheal again you know it buddy!but i am also thinkin what happened to micheal bolton's life to inspire him to write these songs?have anybody else experienced this?its funny when i look back now but not then i thought i was gonna die!

I just switch the radio off. Prefer to listen to my cd's and pick the songs that will keep me going and keep me positive.
Hoping I won't have that problem in the forseeable future, 7 years and still going strong with my current partner.

I have experienced the pain of breakup in the past, and would rather not go through it again in a hurry. Yep, I even did the hide in bed and ignore the world routine.

I think it just seems like that. Thats why the radio plays a hugs mix of stuff, so that everyone can relate in some way. It could be that you are just paying more attention to the songs that relate to what is going on is your life. Either that, or the DJ is going through a break-up as well and they really are playing more songs like that.
