who stays in the east in singapore? ain it lovely?

who stays in east area of singapore? issit it lovely? peaceful and lots of fun places for entertainment.. east coast park pasir ris park changi village downtown east all those shopping malls just like TM and Century in tampines

I grew up in the east & lived there for 25 years. Then I moved to the extreme west, next to johor-literally. Have been here for 6 years, but still not used to it. Mom still lives in the east & she seems so far away. I miss the east for all the chill out places, the food, the good old familiar Katong where I went to school....
