The Big Blue is a french movie conducted by Lec Besson in 1988, and the leading role is Jack performed by Jean-Marc Barr.
For the most of the movie time, the scene is deep into the sea or offing, with deep blue colors in your eyes. Meanwhile you can hear the intonate of whales and dolphins, that is really just like a real dream. Of course you can see the dolphins are dancing with the leading role.
Jack belongs to the sea all the time, from his youth to death, even when he falls love into Joana. He can dive into the sea with a champion record of 400 feet, he can swim and play with dolphins the whole night, he can have lost his lover, but he can not live without the sea. Joana'role in this movie is a thorough tragedy. She has loved a man with all her love and life, yes with all her life, as she throws her job, leaves her friends and house, just for the man she loved, but the man loves the sea more than her.
