To a pinic? My family loves to get together and have pinics at the park. My aunt loves to bring her macaroni salad. My sister once bought 50 pieces of Albertson's fried chicken. I like fresh fruit on ice. Two of my uncles think it is barbeque time.
I like sodas and chips. Last time one of my sister's brought this whole nacho dip kind of concoction. It contained, refried beans, tomatos, olives, cheese, jalapeno peppers, and some other things. It was store prepared. Looked like something from Smart&Final. All the food was really tasty and we had a real good time. So what is your favorite pinic food?

Sounds like you guys ate good and had a lot of fun. I was telling my friend today, that it has been a long time since I have had some real good barbque. I think have a salad only party would be fun. Let's see there is chicken, tuna, macaroni, crab(yuck), ceasar, chef, fruit, and shrimp(yuck) salad.

depends on who is on the picnic, is it a family affair - or a large group?
for a large group I like to bring a watermelon fruit basket (cut the watermelon like a basket and use a melon baller to ball up pieces of watermelon, honey dew, and cantaloupes as well as grapes and other small fruits)
I also like to make Tabouleh salad

My family always asks for my pasta salad or cheezy potatoes! I cut the vegies real small and put plenty in there. I also use tri-color rotini pasta mixed with bow tie pastas, tomoatoes, 3 colors of bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, radishes, cauliflower and broccoli for the pasta salad. For the cheezy potatoes, I use russet's sliced about 1/4 inch layered in a casserole dish with real butter, heavy cream, salt, pepper, onion and velvetta cheese. Man they are so good, I am getting hungry for them now!
You family sounds like they throw quite a shin-dig of a picnic! Are we all invited?
