Incest or not ?!?!

I dont know what to call it, I guess it's not actually incest but it is riding on a very fine line. I wouldn't feel comfortable in that situation personally.

I don't think there is any way it could be incest. No blood linkage=no incest. It could be a little weird if they both grew up together, but its hard to come up with an argument against step siblings being together.... Dan

I think that would depend on whether you grew up with them, or you got them as an adult, or almost adult. My family is quite large. Even for my children, there are some convoluted relationships with siblings. My son could date my daughter's sister because my son and daughter share a mother and my daughter and her sister share the same father. It'd be weird and most likely wouldn't happen, but it wouldn't be incest. I think that if you grew up with your step-sibling, it'd be a lot like incest because they have been your sibling for so long, you grew and aged with them and you were treated as siblings from a young age. If you aquired your step-sibling when the both of you were in your late teens or older, it really wouldn't be. You two would have been introduced as young adults, or even full adults, and you wouldn't really think of the other as a sibling.

I would not consider that to be incest considering the fact that there isn't any blood linkage between the two.

I don't think that's incest.I see nothing wrong with falling love with a stepbrother/sister by marriage,anyway you are not connected with blood.I once wath this America show Gossip Girl.The mother gives up her own happiness for her daughter.She doesn't marry the men she loves ,because her daugher and the men's son love each other.It really confused me ,what's wrong with that?Does it voilate some American morals?
