there is a lot of discussion these days about artificial- intelligence machines(especially computers) and their relation to human intelligence. some people think that computer are more intellegent than people , because they can calculate and process information much quicker than people. what's your opinion

Ask Hugo Degarris. He is the father of Artificial Intelligentts.
In an interview i heard he said that AI will be more intelligent than human in the next 20 years and they will dominate the world!! He said that he hope these super computers will give up Earth and search for what they want in the depth of the universe.

I think computer is more effective and precise than the human beings as we give the programs to the computer to do all the work but still computer can prove to be intelligent but that is not that easy as computer is dependent on the human for the work as it is not having the feelings as that of the human and they are just meant to do what we want to get out of them so what i think is that computer are no doubt quicker than the human beings but not intelligent than the human either. How can we forget we are the masters of the computer ,we have given birth to the computer and its development though. So i think human brain is better as compared to the computer because all the technology is due to the human only and yep computer is more faster only than the human being but still human are the master of the computer not the computer that is what i think.
What you say my friend?

I think that eventually we could get computers to represent some form of intelligence close to man. We already have computers that can 'learn' so they dont always make the same mistakes again. Take Deep Blue for example, a computer that beat the worlds chess champion, and also a lot of games develop some advanced artifical intelligence.
