The only singer that I have ever met I will never forget. That singer was Amy Grant. I was 9 years old at the time and Amy Grant who was 19 years old at the time a held a concert at the Treemont Temple in Boston,Mass. I remember haveing so much fun singing to her songs. After the concert was done my adopted parents brought me down to the stage and a security guard stopped us and asked us what we were doing. My adopted mother said "my daughter would be delighted if she could meet Amy Grant could she do this?" The security guard said "no" My adopted mother said something else to the security guard but I wasn't listening for my adopted father was talking to me. The next thing I knew We were following the security guard back stage. I asked my adopted mom "how did you get him to say yes?" she told mw she'd tell me later. The security guard walked us down this hallway that lead to some stairs and said wait here. He went up and came back down. Not even a minute went by I looked up and Amy Grant was comeing down the stairs w/ a red sweat shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis sneakers on smileing. The security guard explained how I really liked her and was wanting to meet her it would be my dream. Amy bent down and smiled saying "Hi what's your name?" I told her and we just talked it seemed like forever but really it was only like 10 minutes for she had to get on the tour bus. She gave me the biggest hug and stood up and said 'it was nice to meet you" She turned to leave and I went home happy. I am 34 now and she is 44 and I still rememr that wonderful day.

I met Embrace before they hit it big. We had AAA (Access all areas) badges and so went into their changing rooms! I was only about 10 I think!

I have met Merle Haggard twice, he's my favorite. But it seems like I never know what to say. I also met the late Bonnie Owens, Marty Stewart, Crystal Gayle twice, Willie Nelson and Aaron Tippin.

That is awesome that you had gotten their autographs. I never got my picture taken with Amy Grant for camera's were not allowed in place at Tremont Temple the place she sang at in Boston Mass. I wish I had though I would have had it blown up to a big size and ramed. All I have are just the memory of it which I will dearly forever hold on to. Times like these are precious to me and for any one else that shares a time like this.

I met the singer/songwriter Josh Kelley. He was pretty nice and talked to me for a bit and signed my ticket. I think I still have it somewhere.

I have had the chance to meet a few singers in person...some people may no know exactly who a lot of them are though. I got to meet Petra, Jon Knox (from Whiteheart, at the time), took Phil Keaggy out to dinner, Eddie Degarmo, and Dana Key, from Degarmo and Key.

Yes, Both my husband and I were fortunate enough to meet and shake hands with Holly Dunn. She has not had a hit for years but somewhere around 12 years ago she had the huge counntry hit called "Daddy's Hands".
