how do you stop a 5 month old shihtzu from bite at us and at are clothes.

my shihtzu loves to nip and bite as well. I've learned that by giving your pet toys to play with helps in diverting his /her attention from you. A firm yet gentle command also helps. When I say "stop biting" I say it like a mean it and my shihtzu would settle down and stay put. :D hope this helps!
