Making and Saving money

I'm trying some different things to save money:
1. getting into a better habit of saving aluminum cans to cash in for recycling
2. we have a new clothing shop in town that gives you store credit for salable items that you bring in to them - i have a growing teen, AND i need to downsize MY OWN closet - a win-win situation
3. not wasting food - we have a very bad habit of forgetting to put away leftovers, or forgetting to eat them when we do
And some ways to make money:
1. i'm at the end of a house move, so i started a yards sale last week and will do it again this week
2. a. myLot - OF COURSE - having the bestest time here! b. and i am also on yuwie http://r.yuwie.com/piercinjuggalo (that's my son) - thought i'd help HIM AND MYSELF out - i just need to work harder on getting referrals -
c. plus i use http://www.mysearchfunds.co.uk/apply001.asp?Friend=53437 to perform searches on every computer i use

I do many of the same things as you. I do my best to make sure we're not wasting any food, I try to sell things we aren't using, I mystery shop and I try to earn online. (Although I haven't done mystery shopping in some time now).
I also earn online like you. There are many many free sites online right now that help you earn. Sadly, most pay quite poorly for the time you dedicate to the program. If you are looking for something that will bring you better money for the same amount of work, feel free to check my profile.
Lastly, I would caution you posting your referral links in discussions. Those discussions get deleted and you lose your earnings for it. Also, you could be terminated from the MyLot site for violating the TOS.

wow - i totally missed that one, and had seen other people do it too (i'm not usually one to fall for "2 wrongs.." - thanx for the heads up - i really wish there was an edit function!

I too wish there was an edit function. And I don't think many people know the TOS so I try to help people when they do it.

You should check out TreasureTrooper.com, you can make money more money there than with sites like search funds and yuwie. I'm a member of yuwie as well and even though I lke the site, it really doesn't pay well.
I've made over $15 in a single on Treasure Trooper. Yeah, it's not riches, but it's more than mylot, yuwie, and mysearchfunds combined.. on a good day!
