I for one have been waiting for this time to reach since last year! Okay, so I'm comic fan-girl...so what

Anyway, Iron Man! Finally is being released on May 2nd!
My boyfriend is taking me to see it on the May 3rd
. I've been talking bout it for months so he marked it off on his calender.
I'm a big fan of comics, Marvel and DC heroes (although I'm not a big fan of Superman himself
) but Smallville does go well. But I digress!
I would love to see how they bring Iron Man to life on the big screen and if it will live up to the comics and cartoons.
For those of you who don't know much about Iron Man...it's just a robotic suit that a billionaire Tony Stark invented and he uses this armour to help people etc.
But in the Civil War series...man, what an ending.

Awesome. I hope you enjoy it. Tomorrow is my day to go see it with my boyfriend. I hope he doesn't have to work tomorrow or if he is working, work late! UGH. He actually marked the date on his calender to take me to it cause I was talking about it so much.

Cool! I like to go to movies in the first week myself cause alot more people go and I like a crowded cinema for some reason. I hope you enjoy it when you go to see it!

Yeah I will be seeing this movie in the theators win this movie comes out. I am a big fan of comics made into movies. I never read an ironman comic and quite frankly I never heard of it till I heard the ironman song. But I think it will be a good movie because it looks good from the commercials and will be a big summer blockbuster hit.

That's great! I am also a big fan of comics made into movies. I can't believe you never encountered Iron man in other comic books or even cartoons. He is nice, not my very favourite hero out there but I get excited about this sorta thing! I agree that the commercials look hot and it getting me even more hyped!

Any that date came now so your going with your one of good friend and i know you will get lot of fun while watching that film and i think it came yesterday so how was Iron man film?

Hi Dasari,
Thanks for asking. It was great! Definitely did not disappoint. I got to say, they showed alot of the "assembling" of the suit when he is putting it on or having it put on by his robots rather. Almost made me think of Transformers to an extent.
It didn't bug me though and the movie itself had a good plot and was well laid out. I didn't like the last line of the movie particularly where he revealed that he is Iron Man. I feel he should have kept his identity secret.
I just read in another thread that in the finishing credits they revealed Nick Fury. I am a bit disappointed I missed that but by the time the movie finished it was pretty late (they showed too many adverts and previews!) so I just left as soon as the credits came. Meh!
Anyway, I guarantee you'll love it!

count me in... i am also one of the iron man fan. ive been seeing clips on tv and that makes me more excited. i really wanted to watch it with my wife, but we have a two year old son that we can not bring in the movies with us. we will try to see if we can watch it together or i will watch it with my brother.

The commercials are also making me super excited as well. I couldn't wait before but now I'm just about to explode from excitement! Two more days before I go to see it, yay!

I'm ridiculously excited about Iron Man and Speed Racer, and then the newest Batman movie, and the X-Files movie... lol. It's going to be a great summer for scifi and fantasy fans. That kind of makes up for all my shows being short several episodes because of the writer's strike.

Oh man! I am also excited about the new Batman movie!
I didn't hear of the X-files movie or maybe I did and forgot cause I don't really like anything scary. I heard about this Speed Racer movie quite a bit, I need to check into what this movie is about and I think I may go see the Incredible Hulk and Hellboy 2.

Yes I am. I thoroughly enjoy movies (aren't too many I don't like )
Although I've noticed on some of the previews, they almost seem comical. I never really considered Iron Man to be a humorous super hero. But, then again, I've never really read much Iron Man. But when he shows up on other superhero's shows he always seems pretty serious.

That's awesome! In a recent or rather not so recent Iron Man movie they released (this was a cartoon drawn one that went straight to DVD) he shows (as Tony Stark) a bit of a "don't care attitude" I'm not sure if I'd label him as comical, there is a possibility. But I'm just gonna enjoy the movie. I like to see what the movie makers do differently than in the comics and cartoons sometimes.
Sometimes these little things "make or break" the movie...so to speak.

Nothing is wrong with liking comics! But I have encountered some guys who find it "interesting" to find a girl interested in comics and video games more than some of their guy friends.
I did not hear about the Thor one? Will that be released this summer or is it a straight to DVD movie?

That's cool to know. I really don't know who is my favourite hero. Did you read the Civil War series of comic books then?
As for the positive reviews, the movie definitely didn't disappoint! I assure you'll love it. Enjoy when you go to see it.
