Mushrooms grow on mycellium. If you destroy the growing medium you will get rid of the mushrooms. You need to kill off the mushrooms before they open and release the spores as well. It might be easiest to just dig up the areas where the mushrooms are growing and replacing it with new soil.

Are you sure that they are poisonous ones? I get really quite excited when I see mushrooms around us as there are a couple of varieties which are wonderful to eat.
Sadly, this year there haven't been many :-(
To be honest, I can't answer your question as I've no idea how to stop them coming. I've never tried! The spores will only be spread when the mushrooms are mature though, so I guess that if you keep knocking them down when they first appear eventually they will exhaust themselves.
Perhaps there's someone else out there who has a better idea though! Good luck!

you should get them checked to see if they are the edible
kind that aredelicious to eat.if so use them and cook
them.all mushrooms are not poisionous just some of them.keep your garden drier and you will get rid of them easier.
