create yourself a good mood

I read in a magazine article that the first 5 minutes after you wake up are the most important for the rest of the day and your mental state. If you manage to create a good mood you have the best chance to keep it that way during the whole day no matter the obstacles that you might come across.
The best way to do it is think positive and focus on the phrase : I feel great today! But you have to mean it too. If deep down you actually say i'm miserable that will not have any effect on you and you'll end up feeling worse. Don't forget it's all in our subconscious . Well that takes me to the conclusion that our subconscious is actually "the bottom of our hearts ".
Think positive , feel good , live great , stay healthy!

I've actually heard about this from several sources. I think it makes sense too. After you wake up well rested and everything, you have the ability to make sure you keep the good mood you had when you woke up as long as you try to stay positive and not let anything worry you.

Well this actually makes a lot of sense. This morning I can remember after I woke up how tired I was feeling and that it was basically all I was thinking. For the rest of the day I felt very tired and really not so good. If I had just thought more positively or something then maybe I would have been feeling better and a little less tired. Who knows really!

I can vouch for this, since if you think your day will go badly, it will. Therefore it is important to start (and continue) your day thinkin positive thoughts. However, like sandybel pointed out you have to really mean what you say all the way down to your subconscious to really feel the effects.
After all, "you create your own reality"
