Number of posts does not count but quality matters the most. If people find your posts interesting they will visit your blog again . Just search the term "blog promotion tips" or do any of the following - Comment on other blog ( NO SPAMMING ) - Submit you blog to blog directories - Burn your blog feed and submit them to feed directories - Exchange links with relevant blog. - Exchange banners - Join blogging communities - Submit your posts to social bookmarking sites like digg / stumbleupon frequently -Ping your blog every time you update it ( Use www.autopinger.com ) There are loads of other tricks as well . No amount of promotion would help if your blog is new with very little posts since no one wants to read a blog with nothing to read about. The best way to attract viewers and traffic is simply to post regularly, everyday if you can and feed your blog with new content. It is ok to post nonsense once in a while, but the most important thing is to stick to the theme of your blog. Once you have done this for a couple of months, then you can start thinking on how to promote your blog properly - start with link exchange and then move on to others.

Hi there, There are a couple of ways to promote your blog. Like those that had mentioned, I'll like to add on the list. For one, provide free and informational content. Content must be short and yet graphical. Colours do play a part. For my blog, i make sure that any1 comes into it, i'll make sure that they don't leave my website empty handed. What I put on my blogs are some other websites and links which they in turn, can earn passive income. I doubt there aren't many blogs out there provide such services. Those websites that enable them to earn passive income are found under 'incentive action websites', i.e they have to take action by visiting those website to get incentive in the form of passive income. Another thing is how i generated my leads is I helped people to solve problems and hence put a back link at the end of my ans. You can put your referral link for your outgoing email as this is a surefire to get some people to your blog. I promote my blog - Computer Tech Links (in my Mylot profile) by participating in forums (PC World NZ and Computer Hope) by leaving a link. I get a few visits. Also I submit to blogcatalog, mybloglog, entrecard, etc. Also leave comments in other blogs similar to mine, where I can leave a link, which brings visits. Also use the feedburner animated banner in social sites to promote the last 5 posts. (Also in my Mylot profile). Network network network! When I began my domain almost 2 years ago, I had no problem with promoting it, seeing that I had been blogging on Livejournal for 2 years prior to that. I'm also an active member at different message boards. Like I said: just network and make lots of online friends. Read blogs that interest you and always leave comments.
