Did you pass notes in class?

I did occasionally pass notes in class. Mostly when we were in our video classes, and there was no teacher standing in front of us teaching. So it was easy to get away with that. Sometimes I would get caught. I don't recall doing it a lot though. Mostly it was out of boredom. What about you? Did you pass notes?

I've passed notes in class before. I used to do it all the time when I was in elementary school. Passing notes in middle school was still popular too but we were smarter and knew what classes we could pass notes in and what classes we couldn't. I pretty much gave up on passing notes when I got into highschool though.

I passed notes in class quite a bit. One time I got caught and the teacher read it out loud to the class. It was embarrassing because it was about a boy that I liked. Teachers really know how to straighten you out. I don't think I ever passed another note (in that class any ways) ever again!

I was always afraid I'd have to read my note in front of the whole class if I got caught. It didn't stop me, but it sure kept me on my toes! : )

Yes, I have passed notes in class and I got caught a few times and it is always embarrassing to have the notes read out loud by the teacher so we learned never to write anything we wouldn't want the whole class to hear. I think that everyone has at one point in their grade school or high school has passed a note.

Seems the farther a note was passed the faster it was caught because others seemed to be more careless with the message and would often talk and say hey pass then on. So sometimes we learned to have notes ready for as soon as we got in the door and pass it then or act like we were sharpening our pencils and such or passing a piece of paper to them with the note tucked underneath. We learned some nifty and wild ways of folding the notes to make them smaller and more unnoticable.

When I was in high school i used to pass notes all the time. It was hard for us to pay attention to the lessons from time to time, so we passed notes. Some teachers didn't care, but once I got into college I never passed notes.

I didn't either. In fact I don't remember anyone passing notes in college. I probably didn't see some of it though.

That's how I survived many of my classes. My partner and I in our high school chemistry class did it all the time. Still have them too. lol I don't think any of our teachers though caught us or even cared if we did it either.

Ah, a sneaky one! : ) I too was quiet and it made it really hard for anyone to get me into trouble. The teachers never believed I did something wrong.

Yes, we did it too. I usually didn't pass one unless someone passed it to me first. I was just too afraid of getting into trouble. I was very shy as a child and didn't want to do anything to draw attention to me. My face would always turn a bright red.

Yes, I remember passing notes in class. If the "conversation" got interesting, we would even pass a notebook back and forth. I rarely got caught because I look nice and innocent (until they got to know me). Hehe

Hehehe...I was bit of a downright wicked gal in school.. Yes I was the type to pass notes in class, but this popped into my mind. This was in high school..okay maybe this was a bit mean, not just on my part but some of my conspirator friends of mine. There was this one real nerdy guy in our class...as a joke me and my friends cooked up this idea but I was the one to pull it off...I wrote notes to this guy professing how much I was attracted to him...but not as ME...there was also an equally nerdy gal in our class, so even though I wrote the notes to him, I was making out that these love notes were from the gal--wasn't I a bad girl? You can imagine her confusion when he started hitting on her...heheee {pyewacket slaps her wrist for being so bad--bad girl, bad girl}

People around me used to pass notes. I was a bit different and could have been called not nice, but if someone wanted to pass a note to me to pass onto the next person, I'd keep it and not pass it on. I wasn't going to be the one to get caught passing notes in class. Sometimes the person who'd handed me the note would kick up a stink that I kept the note, then they got into trouble with the teacher and not me. Actually, usually the teacher said I had done the right thing. Only problem was outside of class. I never made friends over it, but hey, why should I get into trouble with the teachers just because someone couldn't wait until lunchtime to have a gossip session?

LOL!! Yes i passed notes in class. Especially during my Elementary and middle school days. It was just something that entertained me and my friends while we were in class. And we hopefully didnt want to get caught, so we had to know exactly when to go about doing this. It was fun i must say. Although even though it never happened to me or my friends. Some of the teachers if they caught you passing notes in class would take the note up and read it in front of the classroom. LOL!! Talk about scary!

I did pass notes when I was in class. Exams and homeworks specially when the instructor is out of the room. It's not that easy to pass notes because we don't want to get caught. I tried my best to do this not to get the attention of my instructor...

My friend and I used to harrass our Civics teacher so much. We would buy candy and then unwrap it while he was talking, One of us would get up and sharpen our pencils just as he started class. We even went back to see him about 37 years ago when we were both pregnant to surprise him.

Hi AmbiePam! I did pass notes when I was still in school a long, long time ago. haha.. I never got caught but everytime that I do it, I am very, very nervous. It seems to me that the teacher has eyes on her back and sees me do it all the time. haha.. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

I think this might have been the only girly thing I really did in school. Pretty much all of my friends were guys. I always folded my notes into little paper footballs. Sometimes they didn't think to open them up and read them. When they did most of the time it was a one-word response. So I took the hint and I made crossword and word search games or little mazes. We also played hangman back and forth.

Yes I did pass notes in class. Back in grade school, we were seated alphabetically. Me and my group of friends were separated from each other. We were so close to each other that we often passed notes in class. I remember asking them how they are doing through those notes. We would talk about girl stuff. We did not get caught except for one time when the teacher was discussing our lesson and she saw my friend pass a note. She got mad and that's why we did not continue passing notes in class. I miss those memories. I even kept some of the notes that I receiveed from my friends. I read them from time to time and smile. I miss my grade school friends. They are so sweet. I really treasure the notes that they gave me. I keep them in a box that I decorated by myself.

Yes! My friends and i always did this. Which would explain my bad grades. We made up alis names some times we would use rock stars names, outlaws names, etc. That way if a note was caught by a teacher they wouldn't know who we were. We would pass the notes when passing in the halls between classes.
