I've been looking into some pretty weird random jobs lately, and it got me thinking, what do you think is the hardest job to work? I'm almost convinced that those people that do warehouse work is up there on the hardest jobs to work list, but I mean. If it's so hard, shouldn't they get paid a little bit more? Some of them make very little. Even if they're there for a long long time. What about you, what do you feel is the hardest job to work? Do you feel that hardness in a job means that they should get paid more? etc. What're your thoughts? :P

The hardest job is a stay at home parent. I say this because if you think about it, being a stay at home parent you don't get any days off, you don't get paid, you are constantly busy, and most of the time you aren't appreciated. I am a stay at home mom (not by choice) and I don't get any days off, I don't get paid, and most of the time I am taken for granted. I know most of you are probably laughing at this post, but think about it. A stay at home parent is a cook, maid, taxi, laundry maid, a tutor, a secretary, a lawn keeper, an accountant, a bill payer, a doctor, and the list literally goes on and on. There are no days off, vacations, sick days, personal days, insurance, or pay. And to top it off, like I said before, you are taken for granted because you are expected to do all of this. So, in a nutshell, I would have to say that a stay at home parent is the hardest job out there.

I believe police work is the hardest. While I am well aware that they spend a good portion of the day driving around in the car or sitting in some rathole waiting for you to blast by them, when they do actually work, they do stuff that most if us wouldn't dream of doing. Before all you cops get all up in arms and scream "I do actually work the entire 8 hours", no you dont. My boyfriend is a cop, I am keenly aware of how much your work schedule sucks and that you have to work when no one else does(including all hours of the night and 3 feet of water). That being said, you have my utmost respect for basically giving up your personal life to do your job. The other reason it is the hardest job is no one appreciates what cops do for us. No One, unless you are one or live with one. They give up their personal lives to serve the public. No one actually wants to see blue lights in their rear view. As for reimbursment for most cops giving up thier home life to be able to protect us? They get paid very little compared to what they have to deal with. Even better is the mandatory over time(which of course would be when they should be sleeping). Of course I believe they should be paid more. For the amount of (insert favorite expletive here) they have to deal with, they should be paid double(im sure most of them would agree as well :) ) As a side note, while im in a charitable mood, thank you to all of the officers who are not down in some hole along the interstate, but to the ones that are out making the city a better place.
