Can we live in a world without love? When people who we live together in the same house becomes dead persons walking. There is not holding hands, there is not embrace nor a kiss for good night. People just walking like those in the street, the house becomes only a necessity for dwelling but not acts of love or friendship. Many homes becomes a public place for sleeping purpose only but never a desire to built a family. It seems there is a burden to show kindness and to speak in world of concern and love. Children are preoccupied with the computer the whole day and the parents are on the TV. There is little or no communication. Even the time to eat becomes a feeding of stranger, there is no joy in sharing a meal. Where is the joy of being together? Where do we find happiness in people we meet at the internet than the people we are living on the same roof?

A world without love is a world without happiness. But there are those who live that see the sun as something that burns their skin; or the rain as something annoying only to drench their clothes; they feel no warmth with the touch of a hand; and their eyes stares with cold and despair. Pity them I say.

It does'nt cost much to show kindness, joy, love and peace, harmony. When materials things becomes the center of one's life Love seems to have no place in our hearts. We seek things that will satisfy our empty hearts but the more we seek the emptier we becomes. Our hearts are created to love the other person, find fulfillment in being loved in return.

I agree with your thoughts that atleast our emotions should not die. However, the world is becoming fast and materialists and people are becoming self-centred and they care about themselves, rather than about feelings of others. To get something, you will have to sacrifice something, but people are not willing to sacrifice.
