Lil glass bottles of milk from the milkman

One of my favorite memories was visiting my grandparents in rural Arkansas and waiting for the milkman to stop by and drop off their milk order.
When I was visiting they would always let me get one of those small bottles of chocolate milk to drink. They had the cardboard type lid sitting down in the lip of the bottle. From what I can recall now the milk tasted so good and cold out of that truck. I cherish memories I have of my grandparents.
Anyone have memories of getting these bottles of milk from a milkman?

hi say!
no we don't because here in the philippines, we don't have milkmen deliver milk to homes. we buy them in grocery stores. but i see those scenes in story books and cartoon tv shows and i like it! i think it is so homey ...so country...i get to imagine the feeling of living in the country...having a farm...lol
anyway, good day to you dear! enjoy those memories. :-)
God bless you!
