You can use an anti tick shampoo like Sergeant's oatmeal tick remover shampoo. You only use it once a week and it will slowly kill ticks within that span. You can also buy frontline's spot on medicine or spray from vet stores and sometimes grocery stores as well. The spot on medicine is used once a month. You just have to dab the medicine on the pup's forehead to get rid of the ticks.

You should find out what your vet recommends. There are a lot of spot on treatment that kill ticks, fleas and other pests. I am sure they make them for puppies. How did she get ticks while inside?

I would Take the Puppy to the Vet. If you cannot afford to go to the Vet....then you most likely have no Choice But to grab each tick One By One. I would also Check for Ear-Mites. Puppies are just Like Babies you have to Check their ears , usually by Smelling the Ear. If there is No Odor then the Puppy's ears are Okay. But if their is a Bad Odor and what appears to Be A Brown-greasy Substance in their ears.....That is your Ear-Mites.....and not to Gross you out too Much....But if you look at the residue under a Magnifying glass.....it just might Shock you. There is ear -drops in the Store now finally with simple instructions on it , But if you cannot afford the Eardrops.....Rubbing Alchol on a Cotton-Ball effectively Kills the Ear-Mite. Dogs w/ long ears that Hang Like Beagles , Cocker-spaniels and pretty much all dogs which Ears almost close on itself suffer from this a lot. Also....Check the eyes for Weapage. ( this looks like Teardrops which have Stained the Fur. a good way to Remove the Crusty-weapage is while the puppy is in the Bath-tub. Make sure your little friend's fur is Nice & wet , so as to Not pull the Hair to tightly. Use a Lice-comb. And Gently comb out the weapage. It will come out. and then I would finish puppy's Bath with a Rich -Conditioner. I hope you have found something helpful here Dear.
