Now many people around me can't swim because they have a great fear of water. When i was a child,my mum always took me to swimming pool.i think it's hard to learn and i also had a idea giving up learning to swim. Then my mum encouraged me to insist on.Just begining i can only swim 10 meters, far more later. When i'm 7 years old,i learn to swim . But when i went to the sea,i didn't swim well. Most time i just swim in the swimming pool.

i think i learned to swim when i was around 5. thats cause my school had swimming lessons. i lost my fear of swimming in the deep end like 10 ft. when i was around 8 years old. it was fun back in the time. But now i swim for my school but its not fun as it used to be cause its always practise and never get to swim with my friends for fun.

Yeah you said it right it was really hard to learn since you thought that it was scary to learn swimming but then when you learn swimming it feels like you've already achieved something. I learned to swim when I was already 17 years old for the basic style then the advance was 21 years old after I graduated college. Now what I want to learn is that to dive of course or learn more about the competitive swimming lesson.

My mother had me in a pool when I was two, I remember that. She and my father made sure all of us kids could swim at an early age. My father is hydrophobic and he didn't want to take a chance of any of us drowning since he can't swim. At the time we lived in Michigan which has a lot of rivers and lakes to swim in Now we live in Florida, where you have a lot of pools and the Gulf to swim in. When my niece was little we started her out in a pool before she was even a year old. She loved the water and still does.
