Hw long do you wait for people to resond to your question before you vote on the best response. Ive seen people vote anywhere for 1 day to weeks, so im jsut trying to get a general idea of when I should be voting. Thanks in advance!

It depends on the type of discussion. Some discussions are there which are just looking for an answer to a certain problem in them you just put the best response on the one you think has given you the right suggestion or advice in these you don't wait for a week or so just give to the best if there on the first day or there after a week. Some discussions are there just there to discuss a certain issue among people these discussions generally require some time to get the best response. Some discussions are there which don't look for ones opinion they just look for an answer these discussions generally don't deserve a good response type thing.. Thats all i can say about this thing.

dear adelida2233 To determine best response First of all I read the topic which my feloow myloters discussed and after reading all these I get a general idea and thereafter I decide to mark best response, it may take 3 days or one week. Without reading or satisfying I can not give vote for best response. pkc3000

i think it is very simple but yet complicated. if you have asked any question then look for the best answer. jude how much the person is near to the best answer and then mark his response. and if you have made a discussion and people have made their views then see how muc they know and how much their comment is valid. but during this time you cannot be biased.

it depends on what you think. if you think a response has answered your question or at least the closest one to your answer. After all you created the discussion, so its about you getting the answer so its totally up to you. I usually wait until for a few days before selecting a best response to wait for the proper response.

I think it just depends on your discussion. If you have a discussion with a lot of good feedback, you can probably decide right away. If you don't get many answers, or if they are not helpful answers, it may take longer. It's really up to you.
